Woodcocks Gone Wild on 4/5 Updates

We have been holding out hope that the precipitation would hold off just in time to sneak in an event tonight, but that hope has been dashed. Additionally, the chance of snow and ice and hazardous travel conditions exist.

Therefore, we are begrudgingly postponing tonight's event. But, let's try again next weekend! We'll be paying attention to the weather forecast as always, but also evaluating woodcock activity in the coming week. If the activity is not to our standards, we'll just cancel and offer a full refund, and try again next year (perhaps with a more flexible format). But if both weather and woodcock displays warrant, we'll meet next week, April 12th, at 6:45 pm (note 15 minutes later for a start time).

Another weekend and another storm!

As of the Friday afternoon update from the National Weather Service, the onset of precipitation and especially wind has been moved back considerably, so we are going to hold off on making a call until around noon on Saturday. Sorry for the inconvenience, but another week might be getting late, and at this rate, it will be another storm anyway! Therefore, we believe it's best to wait as long as possible to make the call for tomorrow.
